A Note From Traciana
For most of my life, I thought I was good at well-being. Body, mind, spirit—I had the formula down. Nutrition, exercise, meditation. Discipline as creed. It worked.
Until it didn’t.
I remember sitting with my producer, Josh Wilcox, while we were planning Hustle Detox.
“I know I have something different to say about well-being,” I admitted, “but I don’t know what it is yet—or even what I need.”
Josh smiled. “Then that’s where we start. Say that.”
That moment cracked something open.
What followed were rough diary entries—messy, unpolished, half-thoughts written late at night. Not advice. Not answers. Just the beginnings of an honest exploration of what happens when the old rules stop working.
“I know I have something different to say about well-being,” I admitted, “but I don’t know what it is yet—or even what I need.”
Looking back now, I see what they captured: the shift from maintenance to tending. From skating on the surface to actually listening.
A year later, these early sketches became one of the Happiness 360 pillars. They’re still raw, but that’s what I love about them. They mark the moment I stopped pretending I had it all figured out and admitted I was still learning.
Sometimes the most important step isn’t the answer. It’s the courage to say: I don’t know. But I’m listening.
Thriving, I’ve learned, is a different game altogether.
