The Moment That Changed Everything
I was speaking on a leadership panel when a headhunter made an observation that silenced the room:
“I place senior leaders into top positions—people with full support teams, private wellness staff, executive coaches—and six months in, they’re ready to quit. They’ve been burnt out for years and no one’s addressing it.”
No one had a real answer for her.
I’ve worked with hundreds of high achievers. I’ve been one myself. Even with all the support—nutritionists, yoga classes, bonus weeks off—the exhaustion persists.
Because burnout isn’t just stress. It’s the cost of staying misaligned for too long.
What We’re Still Missing
After twenty years of coaching, I see the same pattern:
Burnout gets treated like extended stress.
But it’s not. It’s a full-system failure.
Your mind, body, and spirit operating against your authentic nature for so long that rest alone can’t restore you.
The real signs:
- Emotional flatness
- Poor decisions despite being “smart”
- Disconnection from purpose
- Nothing you accomplish actually matters
The data is sobering:

Most solutions stay surface-level. Better time management. Stress reduction. “Set boundaries” without addressing why boundaries feel impossible.
I Decided to Do Something About It
As a coach, I knew there had to be a better way to address this. I couldn’t just stand by and let this cycle continue. I knew that what most people were offering—better time management, stress reduction, more boundaries—wasn’t enough. These approaches didn’t address the root cause of burnout: the disconnection from our true selves.
So, I decided to create something different.
